Everything was unique about Rinoterra. Starting with the Rinocerous figures found around the property and story that named the place. Staff was fantastic, we were treated so well that we felt we were the only guests at Rinoterra. Breakfast was superb. We only had dinner once and remember it well because it was excellent.

Ein schönes Anwesen, etwas ausserhalb von der Ortschaft, daher sehr ruhig und erholsam. Der Service war excellent, das Personal war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück wurde jeweils frisch zubereitet und war abwechslungsreich. Das Haus ist sehr ordentlich und sauber gehalten.

Rinoterra is such an amazing small hotel with a fantastic service and wonderful homecooked food. Here the guest are in center and it is simply a beautiful experience to stay here.

Wonderful retreat near Minho River

Beautiful, very well maintained property. Well appointed, comfortable bedroom and bath. Friendly staff. Exceptional breakfast. Very willing to accommodate vegetarian diet. Much more than an ordinary buffet breakfast. Out of the way location but we would be happy to stay there again when visiting Northern Portugal.

Excellent boutique hotel

Whilst small (7 rooms) the hotel is run with real care and attention to detail, it is comfortable, impeccably clean and the staff, management and ownership very obviously have great pride in their hotel. It is just a 2km walk into town and to the ferry and sits with beautiful views across the river towards Spain. The food is prepared with a passion for cooking and is of a very high standard.

Peaceful hotel in a great setting

Everything about this hotel is done in such great taste, nothing seems to have been left to chance. The decor is magnificent, the food is beautifully presented and the staff, including the owner are pleased to talk whenever you meet.. we had a lovely three nights there.
