Property is a bit tired and needs a good update. Cleanliness needs a bit of attention, but when the issue was raised with reception, they got on to it straight away. From the view over Lake Burley Griffin, to walking distance to cafes and restaurants, and a short Uber to all of the sights, the BreakFree was fantastic. Some road noise at night but all in all it was a great place. Very few places open for dinner nearby but that’s not on the venue. Our room was not very clean. It was very hot in the room when we arrived and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. The remote control had jam(?) smeared over it and the other remote had flat batteries. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms wouldn’t work. The bathroom was very old, the shower head was so low that I couldn’t stand underneath it. No powerpoint access to one side of the bed even though they sat a lamp on the table.
