“This was the most disgusting place I’ve stayed ever. Do not recommend. The main door to the building would not close properly so was left unlocked. The whole apartment was dirty! There were two threadbare towels for bathing and no hand towels. The sheet on the bed looked like a mattress cover only. The kitchen was covered in grease. The cleaning staff showed up 10 minutes before check out asking us if they could clean the room! There was no air conditioning or fans. When you opened up windows to……

“The staff especially Carolina was extremely helpful. Thanks a lot.”

“We had a lovely stay in this charming flat right in the center of Old Town Bern. The location is ideal for seeing the sights of Bern and provides easy access to busses and trains, although most everything we did was walkable. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the kitchen well equipped (with coffee and chocolates providing a welcome feel). Sara and Rob are great hosts, very communicative, and always available with timely responses to any inquiries. We particularly enjoyed the……

“The location is good and we were easily able to store our luggage. Helpful staff. The room is clean, minimalist and efficient.”

“No WiFi, No A/C, spotty email for apt No. And access code. Clean small bed, no shower curtain. Shower was off the kitchen, not in the bathroom. It was clean enough but we slept with the window open because it was so hot. We chose to for the price. It was very inexpensive but you get what you pay for.”

“On a noisy main road. Place hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. No mugs, poor cooking equipment and unusable oven. Cupboards woodwork broken. Microwave was broken. Electrics questionable with some sockets not working. In bedrooms furniture worn and dirty, so we lived out of our suitcases. It’s a shame, because it could be a lovely apartment. Balcony hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.”

“Everything was great nothing to complain about”
