"The description wasn’t accurate - the apartment was in need of decoration and wasn’t well equipped - not even any soap! The owner demanded an extra €60 for ‘linens’ - ie towels & sheets a day before we arrived. We were not informed before this so had to agree - they were really poor quality. There was no lockbox as advertised and we had to make a diversion to collect the keys from the owner’s father’s house!?! (He was very nice though). The owner also randomly demanded a €100 cleaning fee the...

"This very clean one bedroom apartment is, maybe, 50m from the beach. Great shops, restaurants in the area. Wonderful surfing. Great walking on the promenade. Both the bed and fold out couch were very comfortable. There is no AC which would have been very hot for us Canadians if the weather had not cooled down. Thankfully there were a couple fans provided. Otherwise, a wonderful place and Philippe was a great host, responding to all our enquires quickly."

"The apartment is at the base of the main section of the longest beach in France so the there is 100km+ of pure beach north of it. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a nice selection of shops across the lake. The apartment itself is very cosy, with a great balcony terrace that gets lots of sunshine & a nice view of the mountains and boats coming into the harbour. "Le logement est très bien situé à une centaine de mètres de la plage. Il est fonctionnel, bien équipé et très agréable à vivre. Il y a un parking privatif ce qui permet de ne plus utiliser la voiture durant son séjour. L'accueil est très sympathique et réalisé par les propriétaires eux mêmes. Rien à dire, si vous cherchez un logement sur Capbreton, n'hésitez pas. "

"Bel appartement, calme avec une grande superficie, bien équipé et plutôt bien situé. Salle de bain spacieuse. Quelques bémols : chasse d'eau qui dysfonctionne et malgré un passage du plombier dès notre arrivée, pas de réparation faite. Un volet et une fenêtre qui ne s'ouvrent pas, ce qui enlève de la luminosité. Pas de parking dans la résidence mais à 5 minutes à pied (en soi ce n'est pas dérangeant au quotidien mais pour charger et décharger les bagages, ça l'est un peu plus)."
