Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy. The front desk staff were super friendly and check-in was very efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the smooth experience. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is not exactly what it looks like the photos. It was difficult to find in a back street car park. The room was very dusty and there was rubbish around the bed when we arrived.
The airport shuttle advertised doesn’t exist so bear this in mind. The breakfast that is included was bread and egg. No fresh fruit and yogurt like you’d expect.
Both mornings we stayed there were staff knocking on the door before 8am to check if we wanted breakfast. The second morning a lady let herself in to my room at 7:10am frightening my children. I think this was the cleaner after speaking to reception staff.
The reception staff were very difficult to speak to. Fortunately we only slept without spending long periods of time here as it’s not what I was expecting. On the plus side the boss took my family to the train station after raising the issue of no free airport shuttle as advertised.
