"Honestly, the quality of the facilities just weren’t very nice and the logistics to get in and out of the room more challenging to say the least. The breakfast was good but the room had the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept off. The linens all need to be upgraded, the shower is the smallest shower ever. "

"We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!"

"The entire staffs main concern was to make us happy. The location of the hotel is perfect for beach access. The breakfast was a little weak but it got the job done. Highly recommend reserving through the hotel vise the hotels.com website. Some of the room descriptions on hotel.com are misleading. Beach side does not really mean looking at the beach. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Our best to Erica and Riccardo.."
