The hotel is undergoing some extensive repairs which we were not advised about in advance. The room service was good but not excellent we only ever received one bathrobe and on one occasion only one bath towel. Other than that it was good. The breakfast was superb with a wide selection and very nice coffee. The outstanding feature of this hotel was the location. Right next to the canal which has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants and was very busy every night

The front of house staff and valet team is excellent and customer obsessed. Kudos to them for being terrific. Regretfully, the property is run down, dusty and just not a five-star experience. Bathroom fixtures and faucets were rusted over and not clean. Floors and carpets were visibly dirty/dusty; common-area corridors were unkempt and cluttered. While the location is unmatched and some may find the artistic ambiance charming, the interior needs a major overhaul to be considered a high-end hotel.

Rooms were nice except old small tv, there were no bathrobes, pool was additional 20€ per person…. Parking 35€ and 10 € tax per person. Staff was nice!

The hotel is not recommended for tourists. The hotel design was very cool, but the hotel lacks basic amenities. The bed was very hard, and only 2 pillows The staff did not provide the amount of water promised in the kitchen, so we had to buy our own. There was a kitchen, but no coffee maker, dishes, nor even cutlery. Just 2 glasses. Hot showers were also an issue. We totally ran out of hot water on the first morning, despite being fairly conservative. After that, we took minimalist showers The front desk manager was very stressed and it was a struggle to get a functional key remade. Her solutions were not workable for us, and it was difficult yo get her to adapt. We finally left to buy water while she did what she needed to do and then could make us a working key. The restaurant staff were wonderful and accommodating. She even made us coffee early, because we has to leave for the airport. She gave us spoons for the yogurt we had to buy. The location is very good, and the reason we chose this hotel. But, for the €, we did not get much
