Alges has plenty to keep you on the move, but don't limit yourself to only one place. Rent some wheels and hit the open road to explore the wider region. Here are a few places to choose from:

• Make tracks to Coimbra for a fun-filled sightseeing adventure. Approximately 110 miles from Alges, it has tons of great sights such as Portugal dos Pequenitos.
• Next stop? Évora, which is around 70 miles away. Évora Cathedral is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
• Find your way to Falesia Beach for a day out in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Alges, it's 130 miles away.
