There's so much to do in Central Vancouver, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Book a set of wheels and you can meander around the greater area at your own speed. Add these fantastic places to your itinerary:

• Head to Victoria for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. Around 60 miles from Central Vancouver, it's home to loads of amazing sights like British Columbia Parliament Building.
• Why not enjoy all that's on offer in Abbotsford too? Popular tourist attractions in this happening city include Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Abbotsford is about 40 miles from Central Vancouver.
• Chesterman Beach is 130 miles from Central Vancouver and is one of the region's most spectacular nature spots. Go for a wander around and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Canada, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. Also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:
