After you've been to all of the amazing sights in Chueca, there's heaps more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, toss your luggage in the trunk and take to the open road. We've pulled together some drives we know you'll love:

• You'll discover Toledo Cathedral and lots more interesting attractions in Toledo. From Chueca, it's about 45 miles away.
• Roughly 45 miles away, Segovia is also a favorite with travelers. Make sure you take in Segovia Aqueduct while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this city.
• Get out into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Malvarrosa Beach. You'll find it about 190 miles from Chueca.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Spain, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
