Car Rental Chueca

After you've been to all of the amazing sights in Chueca, there's heaps more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, toss your luggage in the trunk and take to the open road. We've pulled together some drives we know you'll love:

• You'll discover Toledo Cathedral and lots more interesting attractions in Toledo. From Chueca, it's about 45 miles away.
• Roughly 45 miles away, Segovia is also a favorite with travelers. Make sure you take in Segovia Aqueduct while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this city.
• Get out into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Malvarrosa Beach. You'll find it about 190 miles from Chueca.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Spain, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some additional requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before getting behind the wheel. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
