Car Rental Dunren

After you've visited all of the great sights in Dunren, there's a lot more to explore in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, pack your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. We've pulled together some drives we think you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Great Hall of the People and countless other interesting sights in Chongqing. From Dunren, it's 55 miles away.
• Located 95 miles away, Yongchuan is also a favorite with wanderers. Allow time to check out Wangxian Park while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this city.
• Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is around 190 miles from Dunren and is one of the region's most gorgeous nature spots. Stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air here.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before getting behind the wheel. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
