If you don't have a driver's license issued in Ghana, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well.
