Car Rental Haidian

There's lots on offer in Haidian, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can cruise around the greater area at your own speed. Add these awesome destinations to your travel schedule:

• Chengde is 120 miles from Haidian. Famous sights like Bishu Shanzhuang deserve a place on your must-see list while you're in town.
• Why not check out the best of Tianjin too? Notable tourist attractions in this vibrant city include Tianjin Eye. Tianjin is about 80 miles from Haidian.
• Get into the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Beidaihe Beach. You'll find it about 180 miles from Haidian.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in China, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You must be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
