• Make your way to Genoa for an excellent sightseeing experience. Around 75 miles from Loreto, it has tons of inspiring sights, including Aquarium of Genoa.
• Situated 80 miles away, Turin is also a favorite with travelers. Make sure you get to Allianz Stadium while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this buzzing city.
• Spend time in the great outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Piazzale Michelangelo. It's about 160 miles from Loreto.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Italy, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also note that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before driving away. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental car.
