When you've covered all the fabulous attractions in Ranheim, there's more to see in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and get out on the open road. These are some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• Make your way to Molde for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 120 miles from Ranheim, it has loads of great attractions like Molde City Center.
• Your next stop? It has to be Namsos, which is around 80 miles away. Rock City is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Make your way to Geirangerfjord to reconnect with nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Ranheim, it's around 140 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Norway, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car.
