There's loads to do in Sant Salvador, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Organize a set of wheels and you can cruise around the surrounding region at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your to-do list:

• Make tracks to Tarragona for a fun-filled sightseeing adventure. Approximately 40 miles from Sant Salvador, it's home to many cool attractions like Tarragona Amphitheatre.
• Next stop? Girona, which is around 60 miles away. Girona Cathedral is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Venture into the outdoors and appreciate the serenity at Es Trenc Beach. You'll find it about 160 miles from Sant Salvador.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Spain, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well.
