Car Rental Sanzhi

There are many exciting adventures to be had in Sanzhi, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Organize a set of wheels and you can discover the surrounding region at your own speed. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• Make your way to Hsinchu for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Roughly 50 miles from Sanzhi, it has many inspiring attractions, including Hsinchu City God Temple.
• Next stop? Consider Taichung, which is around 80 miles away. Taichung Park is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into nature and appreciate the serenity at Yushan National Park. It's about 130 miles from Sanzhi.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Please also consider that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before driving away. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
