Car Rental Songsan-dong

There are many exciting adventures to be had in Songsan-dong, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can wander around the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these fantastic destinations to your travel plan:

• You'll find Yi Sun Shin Square and countless other intriguing attractions in Yeosu. From Songsan-dong, it's approximately 120 miles away.
• Around 110 miles away, Mokpo is also a hit with wanderers. Be sure to take in Peace Square while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this colorful city.
• Get into the great outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Gwangalli Beach. It's 200 miles from Songsan-dong.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in South Korea, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before you drive off the lot. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or off road with your rental car.
