There's loads to do in Tofino Inlet, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can wander around the greater area at your leisure. Add these fantastic places to your list:

• Head to Vancouver for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. About 120 miles from Tofino Inlet, it's home to many cool sights, including Stanley Park.
• Next stop? It has to be Nanaimo, which is around 85 miles away. Woodgrove Shopping Centre is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Harrison Lake Hot Springs is 180 miles from Tofino Inlet and is one of the region's most scenic nature spots. Go for a walk around and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Canada, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well.
