$23 Car Rental Veloso

Veloso offers adventures galore, but don't limit yourself to just the one place. Rent some wheels and head off to see what else awaits in the wider region. Here are some ideas:

• Make tracks to Sao Paulo for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Approximately 80 miles from Veloso, it's home to loads of cool attractions such as Paulista Museum.
• Next stop? It has to be Campos do Jordão, which is around 80 miles away. Amantikir Park is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Make tracks to Christ the Redeemer to feel grounded in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Veloso, it's around 160 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before you drive off the lot. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental car.
