Car Rental West District

After you've visited all of the amazing places in West District, there's more to discover in the surrounding area. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. These are some road trips we know you'll love:

• Head to Kaohsiung for an excellent sightseeing experience. About 60 miles from West District, it has loads of inspiring sights such as Lotus Pond.
• Around 95 miles away, Hsinchu is also a hit with wanderers. Allow time to take in Hsinchu City God Temple while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love this buzzing city.
• Find your way to Taipei 101 for a day out in nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From West District, it's roughly 130 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well.
