“The room was clean and had great facilities. The mattress was very comfortable.
Shower had good water pressure.
Good lighting options.
Well ventilated (Can’t stand airless bedrooms!)
Breakfast had good options.
Staff were really helpful.
We felt very well looked after for our small wedding reception meal. The balance between privacy and attentiveness was perfect. Staff went the extra mile to help with tracking down our taxi.

“The manager, Mac, was very welcoming and took the time to explain the facilities within the hotel. Our room while a little dated, was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and contained a variety of choices. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Recommend staying here.”

“The Highcliffe is lovely. Beautiful rooms, easy access to the beach, lovely staff and complimentary breakfast. Just a short walk to the beach and several places to eat. The walk from the beach to the hotel is uphill, but it's only a few minutes walk and there is plenty of parking right outside the hotel.”
