“After a week in Tropea we needed a change of peace and we couldn't have picked a better location than "Al Grande Gelso". Even before our arrival our host Genesio helped us to receive a package from Sweden and greeted us upon arrival in a welcoming manner. “Well present from the outside and great staff at reception. Basic clean room. Noise from rooms next door toilet flushing and bathroom very loud and annoying. “Nightmare stay...or non stay! Finally arrived after driving along dirt roads for 30 mins trying to find the place. Google maps will take you to a deserted beach. Dragged suitcases 50 yards over rough pavers from gravel parking lot. No pillows in room, trash not emptied and greasy headboard on bed.
