“What an excellent property . The staff were friendly and welcoming . We really connected with a gentleman who exhibited excellent customer service . He would engage with us at the pool and morning breakfast ( which was tasty ). The pool facility and bar were perfect . I would visit again . Thanks for the perfect stay.”

“Es handelt sich um einer eher altes Haus mit nur der nötigsten Ausstattung. Das ist grundsätzlich auch kein Problem. Man hat mit Liebe versucht aus einem alten Haus das Beste zu machen.. es bleibt aber einfach ein altes Haus. Stühle beim Frühstück draußen leider sehr klapprig. Frühstück hat nicht die größte Auswahl aber man findet etwas. Sehr viele Wanderer, Surfer vor Ort. Abends teilweise in den Zimmer sehr laut von draußen.”

Toutefois, le plaisir du séjour est en partie atténué par quelques faiblesses au niveau de l'entretien (ex.: problème de climatisation, lampe non fonctionnel, robinetterie qui mériterait d'être resserrée, présence d'algues dans la piscine, etc.). L'établissement possède un cachet indéniable, mais un suivi plus rigoureux de la maintenance lui permettrait de retrouver tout son standing.”

“The vibe was so calm and relaxing. The breakfasts had a huge variety of food, and were tasty. The beds were less firm than usual Portuguese standards, but quite firm by UK standards. The pool was a delightful respite from daily life and as it was quiet, we often had the whole space to ourselves. The staff were lovely. The local town was a bit quiet, and developing in tourism. But the hotel offered free bikes to go and explore. A lovely place to stay for deep relaxation over a long weekend, and……

“beautiful hotel. very understaffed. we had to lug our luggage far and up stairs. pool and spa and gym were amazing. breakfast was okay, but dinner was so bad we didn't go back.”

“Room was nice though a little small. Also had a terrace with 2 loungers. Bathroom floor was heated. Access to free bikes to ride up the coast was great. Easy access to a great secluded beach that you roped down to was unique. Nice pool. Really cool vegetable garden where you could eat tomatoes off the vine and pick a watermelon to eat. Also could get leaves from vegetable garden to go feed the goats and Violet (the donkey). Goats always happy to see us. Violet sometimes was in a mood but……
