Fabulous property…. Everything top notch. Plenty of activities on the property from bike riding, golf, trap shooting, falconry, etc.. We stayed in Ashford Lodge which was just fine… you need a dinner / lunch reservation to get into the castle.

Lovely hotel on the harbour front! Very clean and excellent amenities Including a lovely pool & spa area. Breakfast with a view over the harbour was delicious, great choice of options at the buffet breakfast and delicious cooked to order hot breakfast Including full Irish breakfast & fish dishes. Rooms spacious & clean. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the only thing to consider is that whilst it is directly on the water front the main town is approx 25-30 mins walk to get to pubs/restaurants ....it is however a beautiful walk through the grounds of an historic stately home.
