Nicely set up room, bathroom a little small, building is behind the restaurant where the gps puts the address

Pre check-in was done through an email and check-in and out was done through text messages. This was unusual! At first, I was confused because no one was in the office. Then I check my messages and there were directions for checking in and out. Loved the area, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. Shades were very dusty and some did not open. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Loved the jet spa bathtub. Very relaxing after a long driving day. A gas station was close by and convenient. Our only complaint was the lack of lighting in the cabin, too dark to read a book.

I requested a room on the top floor and Expedia said the property responded that rooms on the 1st or 2nd floors only were available and the hotel would give me a room on the 2nd floor. My room was on the 1st floor. Fortunately the people above me weren't too noisy and fortunately there was no connecting door to the next room. The person who checked me in said the hotel was fully booked and I wouldn't be able to change my room if I wasn't happy with it. The hotel wasn't fully booked as I went on their web site and rooms were still available for that night, and it didn't seem too busy. There are only two small lamps in the main part of the room, dim bulbs, not much light at all. Lights in bathroom and hall good. The inside of the shower curtain had dark streaks on it which rubbed off with a wash cloth. Maybe clean the curtain more often? TV and HVAC good, bed and breakfast OK. I could tell this room was not refurbished yet.

Hotel was clean, quiet, and near shopping and food. The staff was amazing! They were friendly, and very helpful.

Breakfast very good and attentive staff!
