Nice property with a few glitches. Our top floor room got sauna-level warm without the heat being turned on because of heating system flaw that required us to keep the windows open. Our door latch handle kept dropping off onto the carpet. Fresh orange juice for breakfast! B-grade breakfast pastries. Self-serve coffee machine! Hard-boiled eggs only.

Good location about 20 min from Bologna airport and 30 min from the city center. Accessible to bike trails and a park. Free parking. Hotel is situated next to a medieval castle which added to the overall positive experience. The only downside was a bunch of stink bugs in our room on the curtains and window frame. They don’t bite to our knowledge but my wife woke up with a few bites. Looked like bedbugs from the web search but not sure.

We booked this hotel because it said they have airport shuttle and it is 10 min away from airport since we are leaving early in the morning, however there was no shuttle service, although they will help you to call car service.
