Due to the height of the hotel, there is no issue with noise. The pool is one of the best. A decent length and width. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious, the only small negative was that they smell a little musty."

"We well enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kourkoumelata. The owner greeted us as we arrived and helped us arrange a rental car. The room was tidy and aircon was on when we arrived making the room nice and cool (it was very hot outside). Staff were very friendly. The owner went above and beyond organising for our laundry to be cleaned and even giving us an impromptu driving lesson. For a two star accomodation I was very happy with our stay and experience. "

NOT THE CASE … the property is dated old and the rooms need a major facelift as do does the service.."

Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). Beautiful views and sunsets! kristina helped us reserve a private boat to Zakynthos and is super knowledgeable! Hotel is close to two beaches, small markets, 15 min to a bigger grocery store!! "Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Millianna in Kalligata, Kefalonia. The whole property set up worked fantastically for us as a family and being 10 minutes from the airport was great. It's well equipped, with stunning sea views and a fabulous pool. It is slightly remote but that actually worked quite nicely for us. In my opinion hiring a car is a must because there is so much beauty to see on the island. Niki is a super host and was great at commicating all the details and responded to any questions we needed answering very promptly both before our holiday and while we were there. I highly recommend Niki, her property and the beautiful island of Kefalonia."
