"Pros:
Great communication with Bruna when checked in
Good location, walking distance to supermarket and downtown
Easy to find parking
Cons:
Kitchen needs some repairs (light, fan) and it’s missing a coffee maker of any kind
During our four-night stay, the towels and bed linens were not changed, the trash was never taken out, and the provided toiletries — such as toilet paper and shampoo — were insufficient to ensure a comfortable experience for three guests, which was disappointing considering...

"Menia and Theodore were exceptional hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily (bins emptied, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and beds made). They checked on us continually to make sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend and know where to book in future."

A Wonderful Stay at Oikos Boutique – Perfect for Families
We had a truly amazing stay at Oikos Boutique. We rented Villa B (Villa Deluxe) as two families – ten people in total, including four adults and six children. Among the children were three tall teenagers (15 and 17 years old) and three young girls aged between 7 and 11.
From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the team at Oikos was simply outstanding. Warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive, they were always available to...

"The lady was very rude, she came and told us to be quiet and then 10 minutes later they were talking loudly and making lots of noise until the early hours of the morning. The hotel was very fresh and clean though, and a very nice big room with a big balcony. "

"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...

"We’ve just come back from a stay at “The Celestial All Suites“ in Kefalonia. What an absolutely fantastic place. We wanted somewhere quiet with great facilities we got exactly this and more. Our room was on the ground floor with it’s own plunge pool and small garden with two sunbeds, table and chairs and was our own little paradise. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. Great breakfast buffet was on offer. We ate in the Avra restaurant on a couple of occasions in our stay and were more than happy with menu and service. There were other choices of taverna’s in the area and a supermarket within walking distance but need to note that these are a hilly walk. "
First floor independent apartment with amazing views & private pool in Pessada
10/10 Excellent
"We feel so privileged to have stayed here. It is all and so much more. The pictures do not do the stunning location of this place justice. Not a sound do you hear apart from crickets and goat bells. Bliss, pure bliss. This property is so well managed. They have thought of everything and I mean everthing! We arrived to a fruit basket, wine and water in the fridge. So thoughtful. We spent mornings getting our steps in to the village and back then for a quick swim. Everything is totally private. We saw the owner occasionally but only to say a brief hello or to thank him for his generous gifts of watermelon, home grown grapes and a homemade lemon cordial. He lives below you but we really didn't notice him at all. We spent our evenings by the huge pool then onto the panoramic roof terrace watching the sun go down supping a g & t. The views take your breathe away. This apartment is huge and supersedes any private villa we haved stayed in ever!!! Although remote you do have access to a restaurant and shop within 15 mins and no steep hills to climb. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer. Thank you Athanasios. We would love to come back x"
"This was our first hotel experience as a couple, as we normally hire a villa, car and fend for ourselves. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache.
To a large extent, the Karavados Beach Hotel allowed us to do that, but ….. there were a few things that could’ve been better - let’s get those out of the way first ……
The main disappointment, and not the hotel’s fault per se, was the fact that its location is rather isolated, and a lengthy and arduous walk was the only way of experiencing other eating/drinking establishments. It won’t be the first time I say this, but a car is definitely needed, especially if your stay is lengthy.
Secondly, the food served, especially the food served in the breakfast and evening buffet, was “warm” at best - nothing wrong with the quality or quantity though.
Thirdly, the room we were in (deluxe with sea/mountain views had very little storage furniture - we managed okay, but a cupboard/chest of draws would’ve made life easier.
Fourthly, the pool, which was excellent, was not available to use until 10am each morning - my wife loves a swim before breakfast, so that was a major disappointment for her.
Finally, the absence of information, both of a tourist nature, and a housekeeping nature, was very noticeable in their absence. I’m especially referring to notices regarding fire drills, room etiquette and “places to visit”.
