Behind the Duijnhoeve Bakkum

Behind our 'Duijnhoeve' farm you will find yourself in a different world. In the rear part of a former stable behind our house you have access to a complete home of 120 m2 with a spacious living room, kitchen, toilet, entrance and bathroom on the ground floor. Through a private front door which is equipped with a spacious veranda where you can sit, you enter the spacious hall with toilet and staircase. The large living room has many windows and a wide view over the pasture. A lovely seating area with corner sofa and large dining table suitable for 5 people makes it a nice place to be. The kitchen with bar is fully equipped. The bathroom is accessible through the kitchen. On the upper floor are the landing with sink and 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is accessible via the master bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs. The entire property is non-smoking indoors and outdoors. It is also not allowed to smoke in the garden.

Die Kommunikation und der Check-in Vorgang mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Die Gastgeber waren immer sehr freundlich und nett.Wir mussten aus gesundheitlichen Gründen leider etwas früher wie geplant abreisen.Der Garten mit Trampolin und Rutsch ist perfekt für Kinder. Der Strand in Egomond /Castricum war sehr schön. Die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und die wichtigsten Utensilien waren vorhanden. Die Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind im Sommer etwas warm und können nicht viel verdunkelt werden. Die Treppe in der Wohnung ist für kleine Kinder etwas gefährlich.Zusammenfassend war es ein schöner Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung.

Großzügiges Wohn/Eßzimmer

Anhand der Fotos, die bereits einige Jahre alt sind, haben wir uns unseren Aufenthalt und die Ausstattung anders vorgestellt.Angenehm überrascht waren wir über das großzügige und teilweise neu möblierte Wohn/Eßzimmer und die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Leider ließ sich der Bereich nicht ausreichend belüften, nur zwei kleine Fenster ließen sich öffnen. Die Wohnung wirkte für uns insgesamt sehr dunkel, Sonne und Licht kommen kaum ins Haus, da die Büsche und Hecken sehr dicht und groß gewachsen sind und direkt an den Fenstern stehen.Enttäuscht waren wir vom Gartenanteil, lt. FeWo-Foto mit viel Platz und sonnig. Wir freuten uns auf viel Zeit im Garten. Leider war eine Nutzung nicht möglich. Der Eingangsbereich ist mittlerweile durch eine ca 2m hohe Hecke und einer berankten Pergola eingegrenzt - für mehr Privatsphäre, aber kaum Sonne, Licht und somit Wärme. Auch waren leider die Veranda und die Sitzmöbel noch nicht auf Gäste eingestellt, Abzug für die Sauberkeit.Der direkte Vergleich, wir konnten den sonnigen Garten bei Freunden nutzen, die auch in Bakkum ihren Urlaub verbrachten. Einen Pluspunkt gibt es für die Nutzung des abschließbaren Fahrradschuppens.

Nous avons passé un super séjour! La maison est propre, cosy et dispose de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Les enfants ont apprécié le jardin! La maison est bien placée pour visiter Haarlem, Amsterdam et la zone de dunes de castricum. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles. Superbes vacances !

Erholung pur

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus. Alles war perfekt, angefangen von der ruhigen Lage, über die bequemen Betten bis hin zum großen Wohn/ Esszimmer. Die Küche hatte alles was man braucht und der große Esstisch hat zum verweilen eingeladen. Unser Kleiner hatte Spielzeug da. Wir haben nicht einmal den Fernseher eingeschaltet. Familie Koijman sind sehr nette Vermieter. Die zentrale Lage bietet Besuche nach Egmond an Zee und Castricum ans Meer an. Auch Ausflüge nach Alkmaar oder Amsterdam kann man von dort aus starten. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Großes Ferienhaus in schöner und ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Familienurlaub (Eltern mit 3 Teenagern). Das Haus bietet viel Platz, Ruhe und eine Lage nahe bei den Stränden und Dünen. Gleichzeitig kann man Amsterdam gut und schnell erreichen und sich schöne Plätze in Nordholland anschauen (Alkmaar, Hoorn, Edam...). Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unkompliziert, das Ferienhaus liegt im großen Garten weit zurückgesetzt von der Straße. Zu empfehlen.
