Italy villa friends gathering

Six of us gathered from 3 countries to celebrate a retirement. The villa was spacious, well-appointed and nicely furnished. Lots of amenities, all of which worked. The on site housekeeper was very helpful despite not speaking English; Susanne was responsive to a phone call. We’ll share some specific suggestions directly with Susanne. Of note, we had not realized how close the villa was to Bardolino and other small towns; very convenient for shops, restaurants, etc. an excellent property which we would all highly recommend!

Toller Ausblick auf den Gardasee

Sehr gute Kommunikation und Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Susanne und dem lokalen Kontakt Graziella. Die Villa bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den Gardasee von der Terrasse oder aus dem neuen Pool. Bardolino und Verona sind schnell erreichbare Ausflugsziele. Ein fabelhafter Urlaub am Gardasee!

Tolles Objekt mit wenigen Abstrichen

Das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel mit einem wundervollen Blick auf den Gardasee. Man hat hier wahrlich seine Ruhe und die Weitläufigkeit des Hauses und des Grundstückes sind sehr schön. Der neu angelegte Pool ist groß und passt sich gut in das Haus ein. Das Haus selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das merkt man an der ein oder anderen Stelle, hat uns jedoch nicht weiter gestört. Etwas zu wünschen übrig gelassen hat die Sauberkeit. Die Küche hat eine komplette Grundreinigung nötig, der Grill auf der Terrasse war extrem verschmutzt. Ebenso hatten wir an den Ecken einige Spinnweben samt Bewohner. Für uns ist die Sauberkeit ein absolutes Aushängeschild einer gepflegten Anlage, das war etwas schade. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, würden wir wieder kommen, vielleicht jedoch auch einmal das nebenliegende Haus (sehr neu und modern) ausprobieren. Der Kontakt zur Vermittlung war top.

Excellent communication with the property manager but several glitches as described below

We booked six days in this villa above Lake Garda for my delayed 70th birthday party with family, plus others staying at the adjacent Villa Cordevigo Wine Relais and Spa. The positives were: 1. Excellent communication from Suzanne, the property manager. 2. Excellent private quiet and secure location with sweeping view over Lake Garda. 3. Excellent layout of the house with four large double bedrooms, two en-suite, and one Jack-and-Jill. 4. Good furnishings and copious excellent high-end supplies. 5. Excellent washing and drying facilities. 6. Huge TV in the living room. The negatives were: 1. The pool, which was meant to be finished at the end of April, was far from being finished as we arrived in June, with ugly orange plastic fencing surrounding the hole in the ground. Suzanne gave us a week’s advanced notice, was very apologetic and granted us a generous discount, but it severely impacted our enjoyment of the property. 2. Upon our arrival there were a lot of flies in the house, which freaked out our Hong Kong-based grandchildren. We purchased fly swats, which helped a little. 3. Upon our arrival, the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly. Suzanne arranged for it to be fixed the next morning, Sunday, but we needed to buy a fan for one of the back bedrooms to supplement the A/C and didn’t dare touch the controls. 4. Upon our arrival there was a strong smell of manure on the lawns, such that we couldn’t sit outside. This dissipated after a couple of days. 5. The outdoor long dining tables are in serious need of replacement, as Suzanne knows. 6. Parquet floors in the living room area are in serious need of refinishing. 7. The Wi-fi is rather week, as Suzanne had warned us. We purchased a Wi-fi extender which helped a little. We recommend that future renters check with Suzanne, the property manager, that these issues have been largely resolved before committing to a rental.

Hammer Anwesen mit Mega Ausblick !Das einzige was fehlt ist ein Pool !Die Lage ist für uns perfekt gewesen !Zu Fuß nur 45 Minuten nach Bardolino !Das Haus ist sehr schön und groß !Es hat alles was man braucht !Wir haben uns alle sau Wohl gefühlt und können es nur weiterempfehlen !
