My girlfriend and I booked this hotel under the incorrect impression that pets were permitted (we have a large Golden Retriever). The staff apologized when they saw the dog, and told us we would have to vacate our room. They then moved us from the main hotel and relocated us to an upgraded suite away from the majority of the other guests. We are so appreciative the management allowed us (and the dog!) to keep our reservation.

This is an excellent option when wanting to be located in the heart of walkable Verona. The location is unbeatable. Rooms are very nice although we could not figure out how to turn on the heat or the AC. The pillows and mattresses are standard Italian fare meaning barely comfortable but not back breaking.
