"Villa Bina is a fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by an amazing team of people and Rio the dog! It is spotless throughout and our comfortable room had a lovely view of the sea and Sant’Angelo. Breakfast is plentiful, very fresh and served in a pretty dining area. Villa Bina was a relaxing place to stay tucked away above Cavogrado beach but within 5 minutes of the restaurants bars and shops of Sant’Angelo. I would highly recommend staying there. 5 stars for all the wonderful effort every member of staff gave us in making our stay a fabulous one. We would definitely return again!"

"Tricky to get to but beautiful! Note: NO AIR CONDITIONERS. Unforgettable for a first trip to Ischia. Despite the name this hotel is NOT in Sant Angelo it is properly in Maronti. To get there you can drive up to the Maronti and then its *pedestrian only* to the hotel down a set of stairs then on thin boardwalk, sidewalk cement, and a few stair steps. It’s a 10 min walk— perfectly lovely without luggage but a bit of a pain with it. So just know that! Once you’re there, it’s perfectly secluded with the beach right down the steps and beach chairs. The water is perfect. Down the steps a water taxi stops and it’s 5€ to Sant Angelo, which is amazing and the other best spot of the island. The water taxi can also take you to the Maronti entrance for 3€. From the Ischia port take the number 5 bus to Maronti to save on taxi. It’s 30 mins or so. The hotel manager is a GEM as other reviewers have said. We missed that there was no AC so that was a bit hard in mid July but honestly with a sea view room the breeze came in all night, we had a fan, and it does cool at night. Plus, you’ll be rocked to sleep by the sea. Magical!! "

"Nuestra estadía en el hotel fue fantástica. La ubicación es muy buena, al lado de la playa de Maronti y con la posibilidad de tomar un autobús hacia el resto de la isla o un taxi-bote a San Angelo. De noche, muy tranquilo pero con opciones para cenar en los restaurantes en la playa. El hotel en si es lindo, en particular la alberca de aguas termales y el bar con terraza al mar. La atención fue todo el tiempo impecable, con un aire de hotel tradicional. Volveríamos sin duda."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the beautiful Hotel Torre Sant'Angelo! This family-run, charming hotel has the most beautiful view imaginable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, amazing pools, and nearby Sorgeto Beach. Pietro and Umberto were incredibly helpful with planning our day, restaurant and beach recommendations, and lifts to town. We cannot wait to return one day to the island of Ischia and especially to this beautiful sport."

"Not enough good things to say about the convenience of this location, the warmth of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of this hotel! Sanny was an absolute angel - as a young 20 year old female traveling alone, I felt so safe and taken care of, going as far as to book a table in Sant Angelo for dinner when I had no reservations and calling me a taxi (that took card) within 5 minutes after I missed my bus… He is the BEST! The indoor and outdoor pools are also such a perk, and Sant Angelo is a quick 10 minute walk away. My room was also spotless - so clean, and perfect for my stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

"This place really impressed us. The hotel is meticulously maintained and so quaint, with old fashioned charm and detail. The staff are in black tie, with vests and double brested suit jackets. Feels like the Casablanca movie. The small, simple things are done so well, while it may also be the best whisky sour I've ever tasted. Breakfast was a feast, fresh and plentiful, while dining options outside of the hotel were sparse, the quality and price was a pleasant surprise. Excellent. Exploring was easy, by taxi, rental car (not for everyone), bus and water taxi options (recommended). We had such a great stay. The one small issue we encountered was the size of the shower. It was so tiny. Washing hair was a difficult process, but there are showers in the spa area to use or even the Hair Spa which offered a range of haidressing services. The complimentary mud mask treatment was a great touch and the massage therapists did a great job too. Book in amd make use of the full facility."

"Wonderful hotel and spa, would recommend, not too far from the harbour town easily walkable with a free shuttle bus if you want it. On site restaurant is average, better food in the town with lots to choose from. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. "

"Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port."

"Although the hotel was beautifully located overlooking the bay with stunning vistas, there was no hot water , air conditioning or working heating and the beds were very hard and outdated. Pillows were old and clumpy and during the rain the room and the hallway were inundated by rain water. No TV"

"Fantastic stay at this amazing hotel. Food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff could not have been friendlier. Pool area and room views were great. Guido’s knowledge of the island was very helpful in planning our 10 days in Ischia. They booked our boat tour for us. If we came again we would definitely pay for the dinner half board package because we regretted not choosing it. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous. Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette. Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu. The set evening menu tended to be better i.e. less adventurous. Of course this is all a matter of personal taste. Getting round the island is really easy by bus and it is not expensive to do so. The hotel provides an excellent shuttle service to Panza, which is a good walk up hill from the hotel to catch the buses. The shuttle will also pick up from Panza if you are not able or willing to walk back from there. This place is definitely worth a visit. "
