“My 18-year old niece and I loved our stay in the Royal Apartment when visiting the charming town of Banská Štiavnica. The apartment is enormous, beautiful and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was obvious that they wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including a wonderful breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Slovakia.”

“Positives : great location in a beautiful park, very quiet place; buffet dinner included (which I wasn't aware of making the reservation); big superior room with a fridge. Negatives : no air conditioning in the room, the SPA very basic, the swimming pool very shallow and basic, jacuzzi with no massage (or not working), just one Finnish sauna working, the other bio-sauna closed; the water in the sauna cooling pool - terribly dirty and disgusting - I wasn't able to get in there! "At check-in, I was warmly welcomed by your front desk team, whose kindness and professionalism I truly appreciated. However, I would like to share a few concerns from my stay. During registration, I noticed that my country of origin had been mistakenly recorded as Thailand (THA) instead of Taiwan (TWN). I immediately pointed this out, crossed out the error on the form, and clearly wrote the correct information. The staff assured me that they understood. Yet, upon check-out, the invoice still listed my country incorrectly as THA. For a five-star hotel charging over €200 per night, this kind of detail should not be overlooked. It is not simply a clerical matter, but one of respect for your guests. If the registration process is required, I would expect the information provided to be properly respected and reflected in your system. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the room did not provide a kettle, tea, or coffee—basic amenities that I would expect in a hotel of this category. When I inquired, I was directed to the café where drinks and cakes were available for an additional charge. While I understand your property’s offerings, I believe that in-room coffee or tea facilities are a standard expectation at this level."
