"Our children and grandchildren stayed during Thanksgiving week, 2025. It was a famy reunion after their mother and grandmother died in August. The host was most accommodating, helping us find a "to-go" Thanksgiving Day dinner of turkey, ham and prime rib with 5 sides, plus gravy, sauces and cranberry compote. The dining room accommodated all 12 of us easily. The youngest ones (9 and 11) loved the bunkroom above the garage. Everyone had sufficient space, and we never felt crowded, even when we were altogether. Due to the cold weather there was only one shopping trip for the girls in Williamsburg on Black Friday. Everyone agreed they want to do it again, especially in warmer weather. It is a great place for a large family group like ours."

"We only stayed for one day, but it was a very nice stay for our family. Room was roomy and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast and coffee was good, much better then expected for being "free"."
