Everything is thought out, the hot tub heats fast, and looks fantastic lite at night with the lights. "Had a lovely stay in the Owl's Roost. The hosts were so kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was so peaceful being surrounded by fields. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy! The hosts even offered to provided a telescope to use for the clear nights, which was a very nice touch (we did bring our own) We will be returning again in the future."

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

"In the spring of 2018,we (two adults with our children, 18, 16, 13, and 11) had 11 unforgettable wonderful days at Woodcombe Lodges. We had a very pretty and convenient lodge in very good condition, with a great veranda for rainy, cloudy as well as sunny days. Also great is the game room shared by six lodges, with table tennis, billiard, and a football table. There is also a common washer and dryer, fed by 20 pence coins. "A very enjoyable few days. Did not walk far as Mum(94) was in a wheelchair, which necessitated driving anywhere. Lamps in bunkbed room need looking at and guttering need cleaning out. Lovely waterfalls with the heavy rain. Would certainly reccommend it as a base in the area."
