“Where to start… arrived having booked and paid for the gite with a kitchen for the two of us and our dog. We are told it’s not available and we’ve been given a room in the main house. That was ok with us (though meant we had to eat sandwiches) but there was no apology or even good customer attitude - just a sense that we had really put them out by booking a room the day before they had a wedding on. We were then shown the room and told not to touch some of the beds as they were already made up……

“Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. The room is spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed was extremely soft and wonderful, making for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was generous and included in the stay, and it was truly impressive. Milk, orange juice, cheeses, baguette, coffee, eggs, you name it. It was abundant, fresh, and delicious.
