We got to the hotel before the 4pm check-in time and our room wasn't ready yet, but they upgraded us from two queens to a king! Great view of the ocean! Super clean bathroom. The hardwood floors in the room was a great idea for the beach! Beautiful pool and great beachside bar with reasonable ...
Loved our experience at this hotel. The best bang for the buck. Close to wonderful restaurants, beautiful rooftop bars, shopping, and local historical sites. We enjoyed our King deluxe room. On site parking provided at no additional cost. The staff was superb.
Beautifully renovated '60's federal building with brass, cherry wood and marble. Great rooftop bar 'The Terrace' with lovely views. Close to great restaurants like Fig, Husk and The Ordinary. Walkable to old Charleston, riverfront/pineapple fountain and shopping. On a Saturday grab a delicious breakfast ...
This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for dining and sight-seeing. Ditch your car with the valet and you never need it again- until you check out. Everything you'll want to do is within reach. We had an issue with our air conditioning, which was addressed by the staff. However, my traveling ...
Some friends met in Charleston, SC this year instead of Napa. It was not a mistake. The hotel is beautiful and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shopping. Charleston history and architecture abound and both are right outside the door of the hotel.
Very nice area--close to awesome restaurants and bars.Extremely friendly staff.Hotel is aging a little but still very clean and pleasant
I spent the better part of a week here. The hotel is well situated to downtown Charleston and has a terrific view, especially from the rooftop bar/restaurant. The rooms and lobby are clean and decent enough, though the place is a bit dated. Still, it was WELL worth the $108/night. Definitely recommended ...
from the decor to the friendly staff, this is the perfect stay. you are literally located in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and tours. the price is very reasonable. the rooms are huge! high ceilings and exposed wood and brick is a beautiful touch.
We live in the Charleston area and seldom stay downtown except when visitors are in. This was their first trip here, and wanted the old town experience. Mills House is right in the heart of the experience. Walk anywhere from here. Like any 19th century building in a historical location, the rooms ...
Lovely, renovated historic building retains so much charm while providing modern amenities. Everyone who works at this hotel is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Greatly enjoyed our stay. And the hotel's restaurant serves an amazing breakfast!
Rooms are clean and location is great for the price. Just minutes away from some great resturaunts and bars. Just a few more (about 20) minutes down Hwy 17 and you are in downtown.
Very clean, modern hotel. Nice bar inside, very helpful staff. Wanted somewhere close to the airport for an early flight and this was a very nice option
Loved this hotel! Great location in the heart of historic district with great shops and restaurants. Condo-like room was spotless, comfy bed, kitchen, lounge all nicely decorated. Hotel has a wonderful rooftop terrace restaurant, library with 2 hr. complimentary wine & cheese, free à la carte breakfast ...
The lobby area was nice and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient -- short drive to downtown Charleston, short drive to shem creek restaurants and bars, short drive to beach at Isle of Palms. We were very pleased with our stay. Breakfast is not included and there wasn't a hot ...
Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we were there to attend a funeral but the hotel was wonderful in every way...Staff extremely polite and considerate, room was spotless and very comfortable. Free breakfast was great and the mini lounge was fantastic!!!
Very nice hotel and loved the roof top bar. Only downside was the fire alarm situation where we had to evacuate at 3am and there was little communication from hotel staff and over an hour later we were allowed to go back in. Ruined that nights sleep but other than that a nice stay.
We loved the hotel! Loved the pool, poolside bar, bonfire, water taxi, and trolley. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
