“the place was nice, loved the view of Mont Blanc from the small balcony. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen equipped adequately. Parking was a bit away, not directly at the house.”

“Lovely apart hotel in Dolonne, a quiet location. The rooms are excellent, spotless and so very comfy. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Only a couple of negatives, one is the ongoing works which means workmen start at 8am (on one day it was 7) and continue through to usually 5pm but one night it was 8pm. It’s bearable but a bit annoying. Secondly, during a football match someone was allowed to set off firecrackers outside, just below our room which wasn’t ok, after all, we were……

“Lovely clean room with fresh towels, etc. Modern room and en suite, shower was great, bedding nice cotton sheets. It would be better if it had a fridge. It had a fan, as we were there during a heatwave, and we were thankful for it, though it was still roasting. Very central - ideal for cafes, restaurants, shopping etc. Parking is not available at the property, so we ended up parking some distance from the propy, and obviously had to make sure we got back before the ticket ran out.”

“Best host ever. SOOOO KIND.Perfectly, in the middle of nowhere away from the noise and peaceful with cowbells in the distance. Take your food with you. There are no stores or pharmacies near and the drive to the chalet is treacherous with switchbacks. The restaurant Griselda? had wonderful owners and staff and is 5 minutes by car. The polenta with chicken was my favorite.The Lake Arpy hike is easy and beautiful. The other hikes range from flat to challenging.Take shampoo, conditioner and……

“This was perhaps our favorite VRBO of our whole trip this year to the alps. Incredibly spacious, priced well, and hosts are kind and thoughtful. They met us on site to get us in and showed us how to use anything in the unit not 100% straight forward. Everything clean, functioned well, and lovely. Great view of a couple castles from the windows. A bit remote from downtown Aosta but that suited us well since Aosta feels very urban and busy - at least for the alps to us. There are excellent……
