The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . "The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Despite Cherbourg undergoing significant utility and road revamping, it made little impact in the hotel. Free parking was easily available within a few minutes walk 😀"

"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast buffet , prepared by a very friendly team,offered a great selection of food and the coffee was good. I only stayed one night , before boarding my delayed ferry to Ireland but could happily have stayed longer to visit Cherbourg and surroundings . So well done and thank you to the Team...I'll definitely be back."
