The Rosewood does not stand out good or bad in terms of the rooms, but the location is outstanding. Within 5 minutes you can walk to Mountain Layers Brewery and 10 min to Nantahala Brewery. Plus all of the other restaurants are between 5-10 min walk, which is great. It allowed me to drink a couple more beers than normal and walk back to the hotel. The room was small but I found no issues. Yes the decor is dated (lots of paneling), but the place was immaculately clean and unlike many small hotels the bed was incredibly comfortable! Our room also had a microwave, fridge and huge flatscreen tv! The staff was really friendly and the location is in easy walking distance to downtown Bryson City, with restaurants right around the corner. The rooms and facilities are older, so high-maintenance humans or anyone who demands luxury would not be impressed. Although it was not fancy, our room was extremely clean and our king-size bed very comfortable. The manager (whose name is "A.P." according to the business card at the front desk) was extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. The inn is within a few minutes' walk to downtown Bryson City.
