“The house was beautiful, very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.The only downside was that we specifically booked this property because it was advertised as pet friendly. While the property itself certainly was, the neighbours clearly aren't as welcoming of dogs. We returned from going out to find a rather unpleasant letter stuck to the door after our dogs had barked while they were outside during the day. It left us feeling a little uncomfortable and detracted from an otherwise lovely……

The property was not presented in a clean or well-maintained condition on arrival, with several areas clearly overlooked. Basic amenities were below standard like dirty towels and hair in the bedsheets, which made the stay uncomfortable. There was an abundance of flies within the building which was very uneasing...Overall, the experience felt poor value for money and did not align with what was……

It had been touch and go as to whether the recent bushfires would put a stop to our stay. The communication with the Book High Country team, was exceptional. “Our stay at this chalet was an absolute delight. We were 11 people, a mix of friends and family with two little ones and was spacious for all of us. Mike and Anna greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the chalet. They are both friendly and accommodating. They were also really good with communication and instructions prior to arrival. The place was neat and clean, the beds and pillows were comfy, the towels were hotel standard, the hot water and showers worked well with shampoo,……

“Comfortable and cosy home for family stay with breathtaking views. Facilities could be a bit more prepared i.e we had no hot water and gas cooktop was not working. However roamly didn’t take long to send someone to fix it, communication was easy too. Otherwise we had a great experience.”
