Weekend get away
Excellent place to get away from it all!

Great location
This little house is in the perfect location. Would be especially lovely in the summer because of the creek running behind the house...and winter would also work well because it’s so close to Hunter Ski Mountain. Not fancy or big, but it worked well for us.

Everything you need for a quiet stay in the woods
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peter's place. We were looking for a place to relax and work, out of the city. The cottage has everything you need and was very clean. I had to come in in the dark on a very cold night. The heat was on and warmly lit when I arrived. I also needed to work and actually had two major presentations that required dependable internet - I had great connectivity the whole time (sometimes even better than my house!). There were only two of us so we only used the one big bedroom, but five people would be nicely accommodated there. The location is lovely - there is a river in the back and little spot with a fire pit in the woods behind. It's also close to Tannerville and Phoencia for restaurants. Unfortunately with Covid a lot of places are closed now especially in the middle of the week but we had a fantastic breakfast at Maggie's in Tannerville. There are also a lot of places with outdoor seating around. There are a few hikes nearby (Diamond Notch and Devil's Path) so it's easy to get up in the mountains pretty quickly.
