Chikusei Vacation Packages
Chikusei is located some 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Tokyo, the capital of Japan, and about 50 miles (80 kilometers) from Chiba.
It's little wonder Chikusei is such a hotspot for vacationers from across the globe; the region is an Aladdin's Cave of interesting cities, attractions and landscapes. Suga Shrine and Oyama Yuen Harvest Walk which you'll find in and around Oyama, are well worth visiting. Oyama, is approximately 10 miles (16 kilometers) away from Chikusei. If you have the energy for more, go to Koga for the Koga Park and Suzume Shrine. Koga is 18 miles (29 kilometers) from Chikusei.
Around 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the northwest of Chikusei is Nikko, a regional city where you can explore Rinno-ji Temple, Nikko Botanical Garden and Taiyuinbyo. Oze National Park, Toshogu and Futarasan Shrine are also well-worth investigating before heading back to Chikusei.
More often than not, the difference between being a savvy traveler and a run-of-the-mill tourist is a little understanding of the local language, so why not take the time to memorize some practical Japanese words and phrases once you've booked your trip. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" is Japanese for "Would you like to dance with me?" A second handy sentence is "Benjo wa doko desu ka?" (Where's the toilet?).
When it's time to leave this special part of the world, bid a fond Sayōnara (farewell) to the locals you've met and the locations you've been.
