The bathroom had mold. There was a dead cockroach in the closet. And for some reason the pillows and bedding was slightly moist feeling. The next morning I asked staff to clean the room and remove the cockroach, but when I returned to the room the cleaning wasn’t done.

Shower was a bit if a mess the drain was pulled out. The people staying at the property slammed their room doors all night. Bed was comfortable. TV remote did not work. One nightstand light flickered. The breakfast was included but a bit bland wish they had yogurt and oatmeal. The staff was abrupt, or dull. Overall, just ok but not many places to stay in that area so would recommend for the location.

When I walked in, the housekeeper was mopping the front lobby. She was so thorough, actually moved at the furniture around and mopped underneath everything. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly. Just like the other day when I stayed the room I was in was absolutely beautiful.Everything looked brand new and freshly painted. This will now be one of my favorite stops on my way to and from Texas. I am so impressed with this particular location in Vidor.
