"The house is very nice and the dock is very nice, but the house and dock are not by each other. The lake can not be seen from the house and requires a walk to the dock. The owner met us at the house for check in and explained all the amenities. The house had lots of nice and cozy touches with great amenities. Kitchen, shed, rooms, and outside were all well stocked with fun extras. The water and dock area was great."

"Great property. Quiet and private. The house was plenty big for our family. It is definitely a 3 bedroom house with a sun room. I would not consider Living room and a sun room without AC 2 additional bedrooms. The kayaks, paddle boat, and hot tub was keeping us entertained. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a 2 night stay for Ferris State University's Homecoming. We were able to enjoy the peaceful location and make the short drive to Big Rapids. Everything was as advertised. Very enjoyable!"

"Overall great place and experience. Few things to note: There is no washer / dryer as described in the listing. The mattresses were hard as a rock, but I slept great anyways. The place was immaculately appointed and cleaned. The showers did not get more than luke warm, it sucked a bit. The water was hot everywhere else, but the showers while beautiful, also need to be hot. A few details need to be addressed, but I would go back once again."

The location on Lake Mecosta is stunning and we were able to fish, kayak, and play in the sand with my school-age kiddos. Property was clean and attractive, with plenty of room for our group to spread out. Host was highly responsive. Highly recommend!"
