"I did not want to leave. Cheerful, stylish color pallet & decor. Good internet. Postcard views. Peaceful. Relaxing. Lovely outside terrace & pool. The quibbles-no television, no coffee machine, no microwave. Sofa & coffee table are more shabby than chic. Stains. Need replacing."

We were a short drive into the heart of Siena and were able to take day trips in all directions to other beautiful towns in Tuscany. The host was absolutely amazing. "It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! "The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. "We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. Went to Siena, Firenze and San Gimignano and walked to the abbey of San Galgano. The house is spacious with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is equipped with plenty of towels.
