"The rooms should have microwaves"

"The hotel itself is in a great central location. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and the ballpark within walking distance. The room itself showed its age. Carpets, walls, bathroom, all showed their age. Bed was clean, no issues there. Biggest issues were the shower water temperature and the air conditioning unit. Shower took forever to warm up. We nearly called the desk to request a switch before it finally warmed up. The AC died midway through our stay and the temp jumped up to 77 in the room. After shutting it off for a bit, and finally charged back up but never got below 74, and the humidity was uncomfortable. The AC was extremely noisy, making loud clanking noises all throughout the night. Was a tough couple nights of sleep in Room 1410. You get what you get for the price, as it was one of the most reasonable central hotels. Wouldn’t stay again unless necessary."

"Very comfortable room and hotel. I found the couch in the king room especially comfortable! Everything was very clean. The breakfast was tasty. Fitness room had treadmills, a recumbent bike, elliptical machine, free weights and a weight machine. I did not check out the pool. The area looked like it was on the cusp of rougher area. A guy did cuss out a girl right in front of the hotel and then came into the lobby. He looked pretty rough. The hotel is right off the highway. The walls were soundproof; the only time I heard other people was when they were in the halls. The bed was medium firm. The parking lot is small; given the size of the hotel, it does leave me to wonder if parking is a problem when the hotel is full. The staff were very friendly."

"Our bathroom was beyond gross. Our room definitely was aging but not completely terrible. The extra sink in the room was gross and broken. The staff was nice and so was the atrium area. The pool was loaded with lots of kids being super wild so we left the pool to stay safe. Some kids were literally jumping onto other kids from the edge of the pool. Obviously there is no life guard and it’s not the staff’s responsibility to tell kids how to act. Getting to the lobby is also not ideal, but that wasn’t a huge deal."
