"This was a lovely place to stay for our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was just me, my husband, and our pets, but the house would easily accommodate multiple couples and/or children. We loved looking up at the stars at night with all the lights turned off outside and we enjoyed mornings with a cup of coffee in the hot tub looking out over the hills. It was very relaxing and the house had plenty of games and amenities to keep us entertained. It was exactly the getaway we were looking for.Paso Robles is about a 20min drive from the property and the roads are mostly well paved, but it is very dark at night so calling Uber may be difficult since it's so remote, but we didn't wind up needing to call one so I can't say for sure.Also, the wifi was sufficient for working remotely and taking a few video calls, despite being in a remote location. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back sometime with a few friends, because it is a gorgeous place to hang out. "

"This was my second time staying here. Literally everything was perfect. A beautiful property inside and out. First visit was a reward to our top sales people and their spouses - it was so enjoyable we brought three of our favorite couples friends. Had a wonderful time! "

"this was a real find in many respects - what’s most important to me is a clean place, a responsive host and a safe place for my dogs. anything else is of lesser importance, but sams place scores 100 on the first three and there are many other pluses - we were 11, only 3 couples so great with the 8 bedrooms all the singles had their own room/. kitchens very functional, with more than just basics /. chickens!!! (eggs!) / extremely well maintained backyard lawn at yellow house ——separate large fenced in kennel accessed thru main bedroom —-entire property securely fenced. —great vue from the white house; that house has a more modern feel and that’s where the garage turned into game room is. rural character neighborhood, complete with a dusty dirt road named dusty road - very well located for anything you want to do in paso - no downside here if you are a group, i visit paso every october for a dog event at the horse park and friends tag along. we liked this place better than the other places we have stayed. it felt so spacious and was very quiet - and sam responded almost instantly before during and after our stay. we felt like respected guests. thanks sam! "The house was a little dated and worn, but comfortable for 3 couples. Couldn't beat the location. We sat outside with a view all around of vineyards and hills in the background. We did see some deers running through the vines. Location is a little out of town but doable since the view made up for distance."

"Overall clean accommodation, there were a few bugs here and there but it’s to be expected staying so close to a vineyard. The view of the vineyard during sunrise and sunset everyday was beautiful. Sam has a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyard that we ate o at night that pretty much made our stay. The sheets, blankets and bed were clean and very comfortable. So much hot water for bathing. Overall great stay. We felt so comfortable. "
