"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "Great campsite, beautiful location and not crowded. Lovely pool, good playground and beautiful beach and lakeside area. Port at 1 minute walk with ferries to Isola Maggiore, Passignano and Castiglione. Tuoro train station at 5 minutes walk, so Perugia and Arezzo at 30 minutes. Albeit few trains stop at Tuoro. Two supermarkets at 10 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant; hard to persuade the children to leave the campsite. Overall, excellent and would consider going again! "

We wanted to do the Aqueduct walk, which he helped to plan and implement, but we only wanted to do it one way. "We never got to meet Monia, as she was away, but her brother, Mauro, took excellent care of us. He met us at the bottom of the hill and escorted us to the house and showed us around. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."
